Q: How are color prices determined?
A: Brilli stylists are dedicated to creating the most flattering, modern, healthy and shiny color for you. Providing great value for you is equally important to Brilli stylists; this is why pricing can seem confusing sometimes. The following explanation will illustrate how Brilli pricing works, so you can be assured you are receiving amazing service at an attractive value. Every service has a starting price. For example, a single process color starts at $98, and increases depending on two things: 1) the length and density of the hair, and 2) the amount of color(s) applied. Someone with short, normal density hair seeking a simple color application will pay $98. As the length, density and colors increase, so does the price of the service.
Additionally, Brilli prices color as a package, which is a much better value than pricing a la carte. For example, a gloss and highlight applied together starts at a package price of $140 at Brilli. Priced a la carte, like it is at many other salons, a gloss and highlight together would be $198. Lowlights may be added to the highlight and gloss for a package price of $150. Priced a la carte, you would pay $238.
Adding a haircut increases the package value as well. For example, the price of your haircut includes shampoo, blow dry and style, as does the starting price of your color. To ensure that your color and cut is perfect we insist on blow drying and styling you before you leave, but we won't charge you twice. Therefore, the starting price for single process color is $98, but if you add a haircut the starting price for the color drops to $75 (plus the price of the cut).
Summary:
Every service has a starting price. The price increases depending on the length/density of your hair and the amount of color(s) applied. Multiple services are priced together as a package, which is a much better value than pricing a la carte. Your stylist will gladly discuss pricing with you during your consultation.
Q: How early should I arrive for my appointment?
A: You may arrive as early as you like for your appointment and relax in our lounge with a beverage. We suggest arriving at least ten minutes early to allow time for relaxation and slipping into a smock. Also, your stylist may offer the opportunity to begin your appointment early.
Q: What if I’m running late?
A: If you are running late please give us a call so we can plan accordingly. We reserve the right to reschedule any client who arrives more than 15 minutes late.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for all Saturday appointments, and for any clients with a history of one or more no-shows. If the policy applies to your appointment a receptionist will notify you. In this case you have up until 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to cancel or make changes. Any cancellations within 24 hours will result in being charged for half the scheduled service. This policy is to ensure stylist availability for clients and to protect prime time slots from becoming vacant at the last minute.

Q: How can I make my spray tan last the longest?
A: Caring for your spray tan starts before you get sprayed. Before you come in for your service be sure to shower and exfoliate thoroughly. Wear loose, dark clothing when you come to the salon. The tan is mildly tacky and could rub off with tight clothing in the first hour or so. After your spray tan try not to shower for 24 hours. This allows the spray tan maximum time to work with the pigments in your skin .
Use the South Seas Tahitian Tan Extender ($16) to accelerate and extend your spray tan. It is formulated to offer gradual tan development without turning your hands orange.
Use the South Seas Tahitian Tan Mist ($21) to extend and fill in fading areas as your tan wears off. It is scientifically developed to be non-greasy and easy to apply, with even results.
